Are you trying to find a therapist? My name is Eugene (Gene) Whitten, and I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC-A) serving the Indianapolis area. More than likely, you have arrived at my sight because you are looking for mental health therapy. Well, you have come to the right site. Focusing on the individual is what I do well!
My background is in residential, mentoring, home-based casework, and juvenile justice. I have been working with youth and adults for over 18 yrs. I bring this knowledge and experience to each session in hopes of helping you find the right pathways to healing.
15 of the 18 years have also been spent helping men overcome issues such as:
- Anger
- Infidelity
- Pornography addiction
- Low self-esteem
MY TREATMENT FOCUS
My approach to mental health treatment is to focus on you the client. By focusing on you, we can come up with a plan that bests sets you on a path of healing. If you are looking for a bandaid, something to get you through, I am not your guy. If you are ready to put in the work it takes to change, you have come to the right person.
