DO YOU BELIEVE YOUR TEEN IS STRUGGLING WITH MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES?

Teenage boys face a unique set of challenges as they navigate the transition from childhood to adulthood. They are often dealing with changes in their bodies, hormones, and emotions. They may also be facing pressure from school, friends, and family. As a result, it is not uncommon for teenage boys to experience anxiety, depression, anger, or other mental health problems. You have tried many things but they have been unsuccessful. Your teen may be distant, unwilling to talk to you, or even lash out at you for trying to help. Where do you go from here?

HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

If your teenage boy is struggling with mental health or behavioral issues, you are not alone. As a licensed therapist and 18 years of working with teenage boys, I am more than qualified to help. A couple of ways I do this is by providing your teen with a safe and supportive space to talk about his problems. Within this space, he will develop coping skills and strategies for managing his emotions.

I use a variety of evidence-based therapies, including pastoral counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based therapy.

If your teenage boy is struggling with mental health and behavioral issues, I encourage you to reach out to me. I would be honored to help your teen discover his path to healing.
